Developed by Sage by Heston Blumenthal, the Barista Express is accompanied by a temperature-control milk jug to give you the ultimate cup of coffee. Designed on the principle that ingredients taste better when fresh, the Barista Express prevents degradation of the quality of beans by grinding them directly into the filter for you, to extract their full flavour. The whole process, from bean to coffee, takes less than a minute. Temperature-Control Milk Jug A 480ml stainless steel frothing jug with indicator strip gives you total control over the temperature of your coffee. With an integrated thermometer for texturing milk to the optimum temperature, you can easily select the warmth of your milk between 55 and 75 degrees. An easy pour spout design also makes it ideal to practice your latte art. 15 Grind Settings Select your favourite beans and then let the in-built conical burr grinder go to work, allowing for efficient grinding at high speeds. 15 grind settings mean you can have your beans as coarse or fine as you want them. Adjustable Temperature Control The bean hopper can hold 250 grams, enough for 25 shots of espresso, while the water tank can carry 2 litres, with integrated water filtration. The Thermacoil heating system includes an adjustable temperature control, so you can keep the temperature in line with the coffee you want and prevent loss of flavour from overheating. The powerful 15 bar pressure system builds gradually to provide even extraction of coffee, giving you a rich, flavoursome drink. Instant Hot Water The hot water dispenser will provide you with instantly hot water, great for black coffees, while the 6-cup warming tray will make sure a cold cup doesn't detract from your enjoyment.
