The Hotpoint GC640BK Gas Hob is a 60cm wide Natural Gas appliance encased in a Gloss Black Enamel finish.This Hotpoint Gas Hob is a four burner model with the gas rosettes laid out in a diamond formation positioning the largest burner to the left hand side of the hob.The burners comprise one 'Auxiliary' 1Kw burner suitable for small saucepans two 'Semi-Rapid' 1.65Kw standard sized burners and a 'Rapid' 3Kw burner for larger pots and pans.Each gas burner is fitted with a 'Flame Failure' safety device this flame failure device automatically turns off the gas supply to the burners if the gas flame is accidentally extinguished during cooking.The rotary gas controls are mounted along the front edge of the hob unit for safety and convenience the three position gas controls incorporate an electric ignition system for one handed operation simply push and twist to ignite the burner.This Hotpoint Hob is supplied with 'Natural Gas' gas burner jets this hob can also be converted to operate on (Liquid Petroleum Gas) LPG jets are available from the manufacturer.
