Loosely inspired by the Base Camp Duffle bags it is exceptionally durable, hardwearing and opens wide for excellent access to all your kit. It has several pockets to help keep you organised and a removable ice-screw organiser keeps sharp edges from damaging any other kit. The Ice Project's top pocket has puncture-resistant protection for storing your crampons, and there are four clips for four ice tools. Clip your axe in, and the tip slides safely into a tip cover so it stays sharp and won't stab your other gear. The external stash pocket is perfect for ditching or getting extra layers when you're on the move, and the internal storage pocket is large enough for a jacket, gloves and harness along with the rest of your tools. There are also pockets for your guide book, water bottle and a ski-style helmet carry for your convenience.
