Metanoia 65:80 Rucksack

The Metanoia 65:80 Rucksack is a lightweight and strong pack from Lowe Alpine offering great value and performance for all-round mountaineering. It is sized to swallow a day's climbing gear or kit for a multiday hiking trip as well as featuring useful external attachments for axes, poles, skis and crampons, it is a classic, rugged pack whether you're on summer gritstone or a frozen winter gully. The side compression straps are ideal for carrying skis and poles and the top compression strap is ideal for stabilising your kit but also keeps it safe should you choose to strip the weight of the pack by removing the lid.The HeadLocker Axe Attachments are great for securing ice axes while the handles can be secured with the WebCatcher system. Underneath the lid there is a rope and crampon carrier which is great for keeping them safe while on the move.Geared towards cold weather use, as well as hot weather, the zip pulls have mitten friendly tabs for easy access and the main lid is held down with two clips which are easy to open even with gloves on. This feature particularly comes into its own when your hands are cold or you are wearing thick insulated gloves. The stowable hipbelt is also handy so that it doesn't get in the way when not in use.
