The 4-zone Fisher & Paykel CI604DTB2 induction hob works by producing electromagnetic vibrations which let the pan or pot produce its own heat. This results in quicker heat-up time, better precision and a safer cooking surface. The hob features 4 2100W cooking zones and a PowerBoost function which boosts the power to up to 3700W. With 9 heat settings and 2 GentleHeat settings available, the hob provides total cooking flexibility so you can prepare a huge range of meals, and the auto heat reduce function will ensure your pans do not overheat and your food doesn't boil over. Soft-touch controls let you easily use the hob, and a minute timer lets you ensure your food is cooked to perfection every time. The hob includes several features to increase your safety, including indicators for hot surfaces, auto turn-off when spillages occur and a pan detection system. Note: Only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include: enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable.
